According to the selection of visitors on our Facebook page, the five most beautiful places in Greece are Parga, Corfu, Nafplio, Thessaloniki and the city of Skiathos.
Parga
Parga, one of the most visited places on the Ionian Sea, deserves to win in this list because it has a special beauty of Mediterranean towns with narrow and steep streets that extend between colorful houses with terraces and windows painted with a variety of flowers.
Corfu town (Kerkyra)
The narrow paved streets, small squares, hidden courtyards and high balconies are part of the charism of this beautiful capital of the island of the same name. The beauty and charm of the city resemble Naples, made up of several elegant buildings, Byzantine churches, magnificent palaces and squares covered with flowers.
Nafplio, Peloponnese
A fairy-tale town, with two Venetian castles, the architectural blend of the era through which it passed, seemed to merge the best that makes this country one of the most attractive destinations in the world. Today, Nafplio, formerly the capital of Greece, is considered one of the most beautiful resorts in Peloponnese.
Thessaloniki
Thessaloniki is full of small squares with taverns around them, narrow streets and wide boulevards with avenues, churches, fortresses on the top of the city, parks, museums, monuments, cafes, restaurants, boutiques, quails, bakers, pastry shops ... People in it relieved and very buoyant even though in the present economic situation they are struck by 100 tortures.
Skiathos town
Skiathos town is made up of glittering white houses with red stone roofs, balconies decorated with flowers, paved courtyards, marble squares and narrow streets creating infinite labyrinths of shops, bars and cafes. Between the two harbor bays is located, covered with pine trees, the peninsula of Bourtzi, where we find the remains of an old city built during the Venetian rule.
