Guest House "Mountain Secret" is located in the Northeastern Pelion region, in the heart of the village of Mouresi, a few meters away from the beautiful village square where three gigantic protective lime-trees embrace the whole square that is dominated by the magnificent Cathedral of Holy Trinity, at an altitude of 400 meters. The village of Mouresi is located in a prime position midway between the mountain summit and the sea and is just 40 minutes drive from the “Agriolefkes” the famous ski resort of Pelion and 10 minutes drive from the well known beaches of Papa Nero, Aye Giannis (St. John), Damouhari and Mylopotamos.
This makes the Guest House an ideal destination for excursions throughout the year. It is a classical Pelion mansion originally built in 1831 and fully restored and renovated. The works were carried out with respect, tenderness and much care so nothing changed the apparently simple and abstract character of the original building.
Dominant features are the stone and wood which once restored to their original state with great attention, stand in harmony with classic elegant furniture and modern art creations made by well known designers, which give a special and lighter image indoors. Various ornaments make every corner of the Guest House unique with the ambient lighting helping to calm down and relax the visitor.
The house is divided into three levels which are interconnected by a wooden staircase. Each level has got its own communal lounge equipped with a TV set, books, magazines and board games.
On the ground floor there is the breakfast lounge. It is important to know that Mountain’s Secret has been included in the “Greek Breakfast” of Hellenic Chamber of Hotels, certifying the quality and authenticity of flavors and the variety of options. Daily, from 08:30 until 11:00 the guests of Mountain Secret can enjoy a hearty breakfast consisted of a variety of homemade jams and marmalades of seasonal organic fruits, local chestnut honey, hot rolls, croissants, homemade cakes, cereals, fresh eggs, pancakes, traditional cheese pies and herb pies, accompanied by a wide selection of either coffee or tea or a hot beverage made from various local herbs.
There are 5 double rooms in the Guest House (1 on the ground floor, 2 on the first floor and 2 on the second floor) each one with each own style and its own luxurious bathroom. The Guest House is ideal for couples wanting to escape the everyday life, but is also like home for larger groups.
