Kanali - Preveza

Kanali is a growing tourist area with beautiful beaches. The first settlement was founded shortly before 1800 and was on edge of the sea. But in order to protect themselves from attacks of the Turks moved further up the then forest under St. Nicholas.

Here you will enjoy the sea and the beach 6 km long and a width of 50-60 m. It is a sandy beach and open, with coppices and alternating hills just before the mountains of Zalogo where you stand proudly and namesake important monuments of modern history. It is also an ideal destination for surfing, sailing, water skiing, parasailing, fishing, rafting, and cycling. The orientation of the beach is northwest and usually blows a light breeze that helps those involved in water sports.
