At an altitude of 250m above sea level the Olympia Villa affords stunning views over the surrounding countryside and Ionian Sea. Originally built in 1864 using local white and pink stone, the owners have lovingly restored Olympia Villa to its former glory. All the traditional aspects of the original dwelling have been retained, yet all the facilities of a modern villa are also in place.
The large two-storey villa comprises most of the accommodation on the first floor with 3 bedrooms, bathrooms, living room and kitchen dining room. On the lower floor is a guest bedroom and a second living room with the exposed wooden beams of the floor above. Traditional antique furniture serves as a reminder of the age and beauty of this stone villa.
To the side of the villa is a terraced area with open barbecue and dining furniture for al fresco dining in the warm evenings. High stone walls in the same pink and white stone to match the villa surround the private pool and offer privacy and seclusion for the sun-worshipper. Alternatively, the more active guest will enjoy the range of walks offered by the luscious countryside or day trips to the fishing villages of Kouloura & Kalami just 4km away, with enticing waterfront tavernas to relax in and watch the world go by.
The Villa Was built 150 years ago and completely restored with respect to its architecture 15 years ago. The owners took care of his old glory, taking care of all the interventions in order not to destroy the characteristics of its architecture while providing all the modern comforts.

Vigla is a quiet hilltop village in northeastern Corfu. It’s a secluded spot that’s surrounded by dense pine forests and the towering Mount Pantokrator in the background. It’s a rural escape that’s connected at the hip to the village of Kalami on the coast, where there are rustic little tavernas and friendly beach bars. And cosmopolitan capital, Corfu Town, is just a 45-minute drive away.
Vigla has 2 pebble beaches within 10 minutes’ drive. The closest is Kalami Beach, a lively Blue Flag number in a sheltered bay that comes with calm, shallow waters plus sunloungers, umbrellas and a couple of beach bars. There’s also Koulouri Beach, Kalami’s quiet next-door neighbour – it’s set to one side of a colourful harbour where fishing boats come in and out with the day’s catch. Scuba diving, parasailing and water-skiing are on offer at the sand-and-shingle Ipsos Beach, 30 minutes’ drive away.
