Villa Merlot

On top of the traditional village of Karya in Lefkada, in the middle of a vast vineyard, lies Villa Merlot. Its quietness and direct contact with nature, away from any indiscreet eyes, as well as its location, that offers panoramic view of the mountainous Lefkada and the rest Ionian Islands, charms its occupants. Despite the altitude, Villa Merlot is hardly 20 mins away from Lefkada City and 20 mins away from the magical village of Agios Nikitas & the cosmopolitan beach of Kathisma.

Accommodation

Villa Merlot is made up of three townhouses each with a livable attic and a traditional stone tower.

Each townhouse includes three bedrooms, each with a double bed, two and a half bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a dining room and living room with fireplace.

One of the three bedrooms is situated in the attic, which also consist of a lounge area and an office. All the areas of the house are air-conditioned in the summer and heated in the winter. The houses are also equipped with TVs and DVD players. Located in the large basement of the building is a winery and wine cellar with wine produced from the local vineyard.

Villa Merlot is tint with smells coming from the older vineyard of the island and with the breeze from the unspoiled pine forest. It is adjacent to the quaint church of Dafnopanagia which was constructed in 1833. The balcony overlooks the breathtaking sunset which is among the small island that surround Lafkada. From there you can also see the traditional village of Karya.The scenery is completed by the turquoise swimming pool and relaxing Jacuzzi. On the North side of the stone tower you can find a cozy area equipped with a BBQ and a traditional stone oven ready to welcome residents throughout the day. Villa Merlot provides private parking.
