Volpetta House

Volpetta House situated uphill over Agios Ioannis Beach in Lefkada island, about 7 minutes walk from the beach.

Set in a private area of 3500 square meters along with a second identical house besides it. Surrounded by forest, under Faneromeni's monastery, filled with trees and flowers, open to the cooling sea breeze in the afternoons.

The view to Ionian Sea, the mountains of Epirus and Corfu, as well the landscape of Lefkada Island, is breathtaking. This house designed in complete harmony with the landscape, beautifully decorated and equipped by care and personal work of the owners, makes quests feel at home .

Accommodation

Volpetta has two floors. On the ground floor there is a large open plan living room (fire place, sofa bed, armchairs, TV, radio, CD player), an elegant dining area and a very well equipped kitchen. There is also a master bedroom and a bathroom. Every space leads out on to the garden, the raised courtyard with outdoor dining.

On the upper level there is a master bedroom, a twin room and a small WC. There is also a balcony and a terrace here and the view is magnificent from everywhere. Volpetta can accommodate 6 or 7 persons.

Location

We are located between the Tsoukalades and Saint Nikitas villages next to a forest full of pines. Concretely we are above the famous beach Peukoulia. In the place that all the green pines litteral touch uphon the spotless sea and create an enchanting picture. We abstain from the city of Lefkada 5km. The view from our group is unique and also the sunset view is fairy. In our big balconies you might drink your coffee or your refreshment enjoying the splendid view of the Ionian sea.

Very easy access exist in the insuperable beaches, Peukoulia, Saint Nikitas, Kathisma, Kalamitsi, Egremnous, Porto Katsiki.

Tsoukalades

Following the north-western way, passing from verdant from pines monastery of Faneromeni with the panoramic view to Ionian sea, you will meet the village Tsoukalades. A village that has very harmoniously suited the traditional stylee and the modernisation and offers you calm and peacefulness, but also comfort in your choices. In the area of Tsoukalades there is also found the wonderful beach of Peukoulia, a place that the full of green pines literally touch upon the spotless sea and create an enchanting picture that releases your senses.

Invitation for those who love the exploration constitutes the until now unexplored cavern in the area of Saint John. It deserves that you visit also the area of Municipal School where the sunset will charm the most exigent visitors.

Of course there is also exist the community pinewood forest that will leave all the nature loves, speechless.

By the village Tsoukalades, where is maintained an old olive press, the olives are replaced by a forest with pines. They are said peukoylia that cover all this area and reach until the sea, leading to a big golden sandy beach that is also named Peukoylia.
